Clear aligners

Clear aligners are the latest trend in braces for straightening teeth. They are designed to guide teeth into proper alignment using gradual force to control tooth movement. Clear aligners do not use metal wires or brackets and are crafted using quality strong plastic material to securely fit into teeth. A set of clear aligners are used to gradually increment the teeth movement until desired result is achieved.

Clear aligners have to be worn for at least 20 hours per day for maximum effect and faster desired results.  The length of treatment with clear aligners depends on the severity of misalignment and each aligner has to be worn for at least three weeks and the overall treatment period may range from 5 to 6 months.

How clear aligners work

Clear aligners (Invisible Aligners) have a series of aligners used to straighten the teeth and involve four phases of treatment. Each treatment phase uses a new set of aligners that has to be worn for a minimum of 3 weeks before shifting into new set of clear aligners. This allows the dentist to have more control over the time and flexibility of the treatment plan.

Clear aligners has to be worn all the time for a maximum of 20 hours a day, except while eating and drinking, brushing and flossing and have a minimal impact on the daily routine. Depending upon specific teeth condition and degree of misalignment, three treatment options available:

• Unlimited plan: Unlimited set of clear aligners are provided for severe cases of misalignment.
• Limited 12: Provided with 12 sets of clear aligners for mild teeth misalignment
• Limited 6: Provided with 6 sets of clear aligners for mild teeth misalignment.
